President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the crises in Aso Rock as he fired his security detail and other persons following the role they played in the tussle between his wife, Aisha, and Sabiu ‘Tunde’ Yusuf, his assistant.
Recall that the First Lady: Aisha Buhari had demanded that Sabiu Yusuf be removed from the Presidential Villa After he refused to self isolate for 14 days.
He had embarked on a trip to Lagos where he met with Late Maikanti Baru, who passed away recently from Covid-19 related complications.
The scuffle resulted in gunshots fired within the precincts of the Aso Rock Presidential villa, a development oregarded as a security breach.
These unprecedented saga is thought to have angered President Muhammadu Buhari to a point of being embarrassed.
The president took some major steps as he layed off some of the security personnels in The Presidential Villa.
According to Reports, those who were fired by President Buhari on Wednesday included his Chief Personal Security Officer, Chief Detail to President, ADC to the First Lady, Escort Commander, ADC National Defence Council, and 37 others from the villa.
It was also reported that President Buhari decided to take these audacious steps after his nephew Mamman Daura, was seen weeping as he made his way to his office. Daura was said to have informed The President that his security aides were not only after Yusuf’s life but his own as well.
