Manchester United Manager Ole Gunner Solksjaer, says Dean Henderson will be Manchester and Englands No 1 Goalkeeper.
The England international has spent the last two seasons on loan at Sheffield United, first helping the side earn promotion back to the Premier League before starring on their charge towards an unlikely European place.
Henderson’s future remains up in the air as he is expected to stay at Bramall Lane after this season, since David De Gea just signed a new contract extending his stay to 4 years.
But Solskjaer believes he has done more than enough to show that he has what it takes to make the step up as and when the club ask him to.
“Dean has made some great choices over the years and has developed fantastically,”
“We’re looking at that in terms of where he’s going to be next season, but as yet that has not been decided.
“This season has proved a great experience for him, he’s done himself some favours with his performances, and proved he will be England’s No 1 and Man United’s No 1 at some point.”
Meanwhile David De Gea remains the first choice at Old Trafford and only recently signed a new four-year deal to put to bed any questions over his immediate future.
