It is so disappointing to see videos of a certain man from Kano famously called Dan Bilki Kwamanda being beaten by people he said we’re the police. As they were beating him while he was in handcuffs, they were foolish enough to mention the name of the Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani.
Does one need to be a nuclear physicist to know who ordered such callous and wicked act? Hell no! I don’t understand Hausa, so I contracted someone to translate it for me word for word. The reason for beating the man mercilessly was because he criticised Uba Sani on air. Who asked Uba Sani to join politics if he knows he cannot withstand such fire. There is a saying that goes, “if you cannot stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.”
Is it not the same Uba Sani that was busy calling the immediate past governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufa’i all sorts of names? Is it not under his watch that the Kaduna State state House of Assembly shamed itself by jumping the gun and accusing El-Rufa’i of squandering over 400 billion Naira and when they were asked why he was not invited by the House since it’s not a court of law, one of the law makers shamelessly and ignoranrly said, “it’s because we didn’t see his signature on any of the documents”? This is the height of incompetence and extreme malice. I advise Femi Falana SAN not to join these jokers as they will tarnish his well earned name.
Now the Governor’s window dressers have a problem which exploded in their faces. They alleged that a particular Senator from Kaduna sanctioned a song called “Bulala” again I had it translated for me and the word stands for “whip” or “koboko” as Nigerians would understand it better.
In the attempted damage control, the writer said Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, who actually won the 2019 Senatorial election but was snatched and handed to this same Uba Sani on a platter by the same person he is fighting today, El-Rufa’i. The writer claims El-Rufa’i’s supporters and Senator Lawal Adamu connived and sponsored the song. How cheap?
Well, luckily Nigerians know better, we are no longer the fools we are seen to be. The hullabaloo has exploded right on their faces as people have taken to social media handles spewing all sorts of unprintable statements reminding us of images that will never wipe away from our memories which are factual and sensible of course.
Whatever an individual says about a leader, Governor or President for that matter, the most civil thing to do is to take him to court, find him guilty and make him face the judge’s wrath either through fine or prison sentence. You cannot abduct a man in the night, take him to a waterfront, beat him to pulp while you are equally hailing him with abuses and insults as you flog him and expect to have a good sleep at night. It’s not done like this anymore.
Like I said above, Nigerians are wiser now, if Uba Sani cannot withstand insults and name calling like President Goodluck and Buhari and even his mentor (according to Uba Sani himself), El-Rufa’i, let him resign as Governor and stay in peace.
Where was Uba when Senators Hunkuyi and the other Senators from Kaduna were being cursed by El-Rufa’i over the same loan Uba signed off as Senator? I will answer for free, he was busy clapping for his boss and beaming his 32 for all to see?
Oga Governor, you better prepare yourself for the worse, it has not started yet. Your window dressers are clowns, to say the least. My candid advise, if you cannot stand the heat get out of the kitchen. This fiery roof will definitely fall upon you. Tread carefully, lead your people as best you can or walk.
