The rape and murder of barakat Bello a teenager in ibadan has raised concerns over the spate of rapes been committed in Nigeria in the past two weeks three girls have been raped and murdered in the country.
18 year old barakat was found stabbed to death rate behind the house where she lives with family in Akinyele area of ibadan the oyo state capital on June 1st 2020.
The student of the Federal College of Animal Production and Technology Moor was described as a loving easy going girl who related very freely and happily with friends and family.
The oyo state police spokesperson said that investigations and already be gone into the causes of her death.
This unfortunate incident is happening 3 days after a students who was reading in a church was also murdered in Edo state
