Nigerian celebrities have never seized to make the country proud and give her international recognition as they won most of the awards at the 2023 African Muzik Magazine Awards (Afrimma).

The Afrimma award show was held on Sunday, September, 17, at the prestigious Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas, US, as Nigerian artistes beat other global stars across Africa in their category to secure the prized trophy.
Popular Nigerian superstar, Davido’s Timeless won the Afrimma Album of the year, beat Asake’s work of art, Omah Lay’s boy alone deluxe among others.
Mavins signee, Ayra Starr emerged as the Best female West Africa ahead of Tems, Tiwa Savage, Ammarae, Gyakie and others, as Blaqbone won the Best male rap act at the award show.
Spryo and Tiwa Savage’s ‘Who’s your guy?” was awarded the best collaboration, as Popular Nollywood actress and Disc Jockey, Dorcas Shola Fapson, won the award for the best DJ Africa.
Renowned artiste, Timaya became the holder of Afrimma lifetime achievement award while rapper Odumodu Blvck won the best new comer.
Musician, Flavour won the best live act with KCee, who went home with Afrimma Legendary award.
