Liverpool captain has stated that lifting the premier league tittle and playing at Anfield would be pretty strange without the fans.
The Reds were top of the league with just two wins to be declared winners of the premier league which they haven’t won since 1990.
With the league hopeful of a start in june haven been suspended since 13 march due to Coronavirus pandemic.
Many Rival fans has called for the league to be canceled due to the pandemic; but that isn’t happening as the league is set to resume next month
in recent interview Henderson said Liverpool fans make a huge difference and we all know that.
he further stated:
”Of course it would feel different because if you win any trophy and receive it without any fans there there, it would be pretty strange.
”It is not over we still have work to do and we still need to perform at a high level the way until the season finishes because we want to finish as strongly as we can to make sure it is a full season.
”After that, whether we win it ot whatever then receiving the trophy and the fans not being there ….you just have to deal with it when it comes. Hopefully it does happen. We are in a very good position.”
Liverpool and other premier league clubs has returned to training with strict protocol which would make players safe; and train without fears of contacting the Coronavirus.
