Ndidi spent 3 season at Belgium playing for top flight side Genk, He then joined the Foxes in 2017 in a transfer cost them £17 Million.
At that time Leicester had just won the premier league the previous season, after which they sold N’Golo Kante to Chelsea and needed a replacement for him urgently.

However Ndidi Adapted to life in Leicester quickly as he saw it as an opportunity to develop,’ Thus, embraced the burden of expectations.
In a recent interview Ndidi stated;
”I was comfortable at Genk but it was like an opportunity for me to actually develop in my career. It was the right time for me to go because the club [Genk] wanted me to progress in my career.
“It was difficult for me at that time because i had to leave for another country and start afresh. Even in training everyone wanted to see what i can do because the person that just left [Kante]made a mark so the pressure was there.”
”But I encouraged myself to be myself and not try to fill anybody’s shoe. All i wanted to do was make a mark for myself which is so possible, and after playing two games i got comfortable”
The Nigerian star has now become the fan favorite at Leicester thanks to his unbelievable performance for the Foxes.
And has been awarded the club’s youngest player of the year for two successive season.
