In a somewhat rude reawakening that defies understanding, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has failed to deliver his polling Unit to his endorsed Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Obi lost to Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at polling unit 22, Olusomi compound, ward 11, Abeokuta north LGA, Ogun state, on Saturday, despite being endorsed by Obasanjo.
Tinubu garnered 56 votes, Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored seven votes, while Obi got nine votes.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled eight seats and Accord Party had one vote.
Many now question if the former President used the nativity card in deception or not.
