The Ekiti State Amotekun Security Corps has arrested seven persons including two women for armed robbery.

The suspects were also found with four motorcycles, sixteen phones, mask, knives, water pumping Machine among others.
The commandant of Amotekun in Ekiti State, Mr Joe Komolafe who disclosed the arrest to Newsmen noted that the suspects were arrested in Ara, Aisegba and Ado Ekiti.
According to him, the suspects were arrested following tip off by members of the communities.
Mr Komolafe also stated that two of them specialise in robbing motorists along Iluomoba- Aisegba road, while the remaining four were specialise in snatching motorcycles.
The commandment who also appealed to residents to report suspicious activities in their area, noted that the suspects would be handed over to security agents.
