The governorship election in Ekiti State, South-west Nigeria, is ongoing in the 16 local government areas of the state.

The election which Voting started around 8 a.m. and ended by 3 p.m. witnessed a large turnout of voters in most areas.
Reports however say it was marred by alleged vote buying which we personally witnessed an APC Chieftain being whisked away by men of the Department of State Service.
