A tale of woes has befallen some defiant hospitality industry operators in Rivers State as the Governor Nyesom Wike lead the demolition of hotels in Eleme, and Onne making true his threats to clampdown on any one who violated the lockdown order.
Governor Wike had set the lockdown order to stop the spread of Covid-19 currently tearing through all states but a couple in the country.
Some hotels are bearing the brunt of disobeying the order as Mr. Wike personally supervised the demolition of Prodest Hotel, Onne and Etemeteh Hotel, Eleme who were caught off guard operating.
