The wife of suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Abba Kyari, slumped at the Federal High Court in Abuja, on Monday.

The woman, who slumped after the presiding judge, Justice Emeka Nwite, refused granting bail to Kyari and others standing trial with him, was immediately rushed out of court.
The trial was then adjourned till March 26.
The middle-aged woman, wearing a black Hijab, fainted while armed operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, were leading Kyari and the others away from the court premises.

She was carried and rushed into one of the offices on the third floor of the court by some officials of the NDLEA and lawyers.
Ramatu Kyari was said to be asthmatic and receiving treatment to resuscitate her as at the time of filing this report.
