The All Progressives Congress had no candidate in the just concluded Anambra governorship election according to a federal high court.
The court in its ruling Moments ago said Senator Andy Uba emerged as a candidate for the APC through an illegally conducted primary election and as such the court ordered INEC to delete Uba from its record as a candidate in the election.
The ruling is coming as a big suprise to political observers as many of them have been taken unawares.

Also, the judge ordered the APC to refund to the plaintiff the N22,500.000 he paid for expression of interest and nomination forms since the party failed to conduct a valid primary.
