As part of the Activities marking the third anniversary in office of the Kayode Fayemi’s administration in Ekiti State, the state government is currently holding the maiden edition of the Ekiti Honours tagged Oni-Uyi Awards 2021.

The Ceremony which Attracts about fifty awardees including the first military administrator of the state, Col. Inuwa Bawa who would be receiving posthumous Award, while the second military administrator of the state, Navy Capt. Atanda Yusuf who is currently sitting at the venue will be presented with the awards of “Ekiti Exceptional Achievers Award, alongside the first civilian Governor of the state, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo.
The Occasion is currently having discussants moderating by by Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi who is hosting foremost traditional Rulers, the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe and the Alaaye of Efon Alaaye as well as an Elder Stateman, Chief Deji Fasuan who spoke on their predicaments before Ekiti could attained it’s lofty height as a state of the Federal republic of Nigeria.
