“We have been making efforts to ensure that government infrastructures that are in Nasarawa state are protected and I am happy that we are making progress.
“I thank our colleagues in Benue State because they supported us in recovering these vandalised 970 railway slippers which was being taken to an unknown destination.
“We intercepted the truck at Kadarko in Keana Local Government Area here in Nasarawa State, but we did not see the vandals in the vehicle when it finally stopped.
“I have directed officers of the command to go after them and ensure that they are arrested. Investigation is also ongoing to know all those involved and also to know the destination of the vehicle and where it took off from,” he said.
