The Nigeria Police department has revealed it will deploy 34,587 personnel for Anambra Governorship Election.

The inspector general of police, Usman Alkali Baba disclosed this while meeting with the commissioners of various States and Heads of Formations in Abuja.
He says three helicopters will also be deployed for surveillance, in addition to animals and other equipment that will be deployed during the election.
The IGP says the police is collaborating with sister agencies and the independent national electoral commission (INEC) to ensure the conduct of a peaceful election in the state.
