The coronavirus has continued to spread and very quickly too as the NCDC this evening confirmed 14 new cases.
The NCDC now puts the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria at 65..
14 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 2 in FCT, 12 in Lagos
Of the 14, 6 were detected on a vessel, 3 are returning travellers into Nigeria & 1 is close contact of a confirmed case

So far there has been 1 death recorded.
Meanwhile 6 unconfirmed persons who tested positive in Lagos have had another round of tests carried out on them while h turned out negative changing their positive status.
The NCDC is encouraging Nigerians who have returned to the country to self isolate as a means of stoping the spread of the virus.
