The Federal Ministry of Health today announced five new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire in a Press briefing on Coronavirus on Wednesday revealed that the cases are from the UK and US.
Three of the cases are from the US including a mother and her 6-week old baby while two are from the UK. Two of the three people from the US are Nigerians with both of those from the UK being Nigerians too.
The latest cases increases the country’s reported COVID-19 cases to eight.

The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has restricted entry from China, UK, US, and ten other countries to secure the country from the pandemic.
