Nasarawa state government is partnering with Japan for the production of rice to improve its value chain.
Farmers in 3 local government areas of the state have received mechanized rice reapers and Thrashers courtesy of the Japanese government.
According to the Japanese ambassador to Nigeria Yutaka Kikuta, development in agriculture is in line with the themes of the just concluded 7th Tokyo international conference on Africa development held in Yokohama, Japan.
The state governor believes more can still be done in the partnership which it says it will explore.
