Armed bandits have reportedly attacked Baptist High School, Marmara before Kujama, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, kidnapping an unconfirmed number of students.
The security guard in the school, Daniel Muhuta, while speaking on the development said, “I escaped narrowly. They came around 1.00 am and started shooting. I was at the back of the school dormitory when I heard shooting and decided to pin down.”

Some of the students who escaped the invasion narrated that the bandits stormed their residential apartments and started shooting sporadically before they made away with students.
As of the time of filing this report, security operatives have been deployed to the school, while parents and relatives of the abducted students gathered at the main entrance of the school.
The state police command is yet to release a statement at the time of filing this report.
