Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 52 new COVID-19 infections and two fatalities.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 32 patients recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres.

According to the NCDC, Taraba State reported 18 new cases, FCT-9, Rivers-9, Lagos-7, Akwa Ibom-6, Kano-2
and Kaduna-1.
As of 5th May 2021, Nigeria has confirmed a total of 165,273 cases; 155,403 recoveries and 2,065 deaths.
