The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced zero COVID-19-related death on Wednesday, for the tenth consecutive days.
Report released by the NCDC also shows that the nation recorded 65 new infections, a decline compared to the 120 reported in the previous day.

The fresh (65) cases were reported in 11 Nigerian States; Lagos-41, Kaduna-6, Kano-3, Rivers-3, Plateau-3, Akwa-Ibom-2, Imo-2, Oyo-2, Edo-1, Bauchi-1 and Osun-1.
It added that 35 persons recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres in the country in the day under review.
The new infections pushed the total confirmed cases in the country to 164,488 out of which 154,441 were successfully managed while 2,061 patients so far died of complications.
