Derek Chauvin the police officer arrested in George Floyd’s murder case has been convicted of murder and manslaughter on Tuesday in the death of African-American George Floyd in a case that has angered black Americans and Africans across the world who have cried out for justice.
A seven man jury made of two women and five men in the American State of Minneapolis came up with their verdict within two days in a final lap of trial that lasted three-week
The white officer who brutally knelt on Floyds Neck who was suffocated say in his last and final moments on earth that he cant breath was found guilty on all three charges he faced.
Chauvin, 45, could be looking at 3 to 5 decades in jail without parole for his rather unprofessional arrest of Floyd killing him in the process on May 25.
The sad event culminated in despair across America sparking protests against racial injustice around the world.
