The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval to Caleb University Imota, Lagos State, to run four part-time programmes.
The programmes are B.Sc. Economics; B.Sc. Political Science; B.Sc. International Relations; and B.Sc. Criminology and Security Studies.

The university in a statement signed by its Information, Media and Publication Specialist, Olawale Adekoya, explained that the approval was conveyed in a letter signed by the NUC Director of Academic Planning, Dr Noel. B. Saliu.
Recall that Caleb University recently got the approval by the NUC for its ‘Magodo Take off Site’ as a ‘City Campus. This was in addition to an approval to commence a Bachelor of Law degree programme.

According to a letter signed by the NUC Director of Academic Planning, Dr N.B. Saliu, “I am directed to inform the Vice-Chancellor that the Executive Secretary has considered and approved the establishment of the Full-Time Mode of the following Undergraduate Programme to be run in the City Campusof the University, with effect from the 2020/2021 Acadenic Session – LLB, Law”.
The Institution, backed with the mandate, has since rolled out admission forms for the Faculty of Law at the Magodo City Campus for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nosa Owens-Ibie, pointed that “the approval is a continuation of the harvest of good news in Caleb University, and we remain grateful to the National Universities Commission for its support”.
