Confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 161,868 as 131 new cases and no deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Monday, 22nd of March 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus via its official twitter page said, 148,125 cases have been discharged and 2,030 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.

According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 8 states, with Lagos having the highest with 64 new cases.
In further report from NCDC, Lagos-64, Rivers-12, Kaduna-11, Plateau-9, Jigawa-8, Bayelsa-6, Ondo-5.
Ebonyi, FCT, and Osun had 4 new cases while Borno, Kano, Ogun and Oyo had a single case respectively.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
