Confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 158,506 as 209 new cases and 5 deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Sunday, 7th of March 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus via its official twitter page, said 137,875 cases have been discharged and 1,969 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.

According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 19 states, having Enugu as the highest with 78 new cases.
In further report from NCDC, Bauchi had 36, Rivers 22, Imo 18, Ogun 16, FCT 15, Akwa Ibom 13, Kaduna 13, Kebbi 11 and Kwara 9.
Other states include: Edo 7, Ekiti 6, Borno 5, Yobe 5, Kano 4, Nassarawa 3, Osun 3, Anambra 2 and Plateau 2.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
