In what may seem a daring of the governments warning to Gunmen in a seeming abduction spree, Gunmen have again launched an attack and kidnapped students of another government secondary school in Zamfara State.
This condemnable act happened at Jangebe in the Talata-Mafara local government area.
The state commissioner for information, Hon. Suleiman Tunau Anka while speaking to Control TV in the early hours of today said the gunmen stormed the school around 1 a.m earlier today while the students were asleep and abducted them.
He said there is no confirmation on the number of students abducted as at the time of this report
Attempts to reach police authorities in the state for a definitive situation report has proved abortive.
However, BBC Hausa monitored by Control TV is reporting at least 300 felames students were said to have been abducted.
This is coming less than 10 days after terrorists killed a student, abducted 27 students and three staff of Government Science college, Kagara, Niger state. 12 relatives of the staff and students were also kidnapped in the process
