A total of 690 new COVID-19 infections were recorded in Nigeria on Sunday, 14th February 2021.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily update on Coronavirus via its official twitter page.
The fresh cases were reported in 18 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

A State-by-State analysis of the 1,633 cases revealed that Ondo State recorded the highest infections of the day with 120 cases.
Others are; Borno-41, Ebonyi-37, Benue-33, Plateau-30, FCT-29, Nasarawa-25, Ogun-25, Edo-24
Osun-24, Katsina-22, Kaduna-21, Niger-20, Kwara-14, Ekiti-13, Yobe-10, Oyo-4, Bayelsa-1 and Jigawa-1.
According to NCDC’s data, five (5) persons died of COVID-19 complications while 439 patients recovered and have been discharged from various isolation centres in the country.

Till date, 146,184 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria; 120,838 discharged and 1,752 deaths.
