Nigeria’s confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, have risen to 141,447.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the disclosure in its daily update on Tuesday night.
According to the centre, there were 1,056 new cases recorded nationwide.
NCDC disclosed that the country recorded 1,120 new recoveries in the last 24 hours.

It noted that the recoveries include 478 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
21 new fatalities were also recorded.
21 states and the Federal Capital Territory recorded new infections on Tuesday.
Lagos recorded most infections with 214 new cases, followed by Osun and FCT with 120 and 116 new cases respectively.

Also, Plateau State recorded 88 new infections while Ebonyi State recorded 75 new cases.
Other states like Kwara recorded-73,
Gombe-70, Ondo-57, Rivers-47, Akwa Ibom-38, Edo-25, Oyo-23, Kano-22, Delta-19, Katsina-18, Borno-16, Nasarawa-13, Ekiti-8, Ogun-8, Bauchi-4, Benue-1, and Jigawa-1.

So far, Nigeria has recorded a total of 115,754 recoveries and 1,694 fatalities.
