Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases increased further on Friday, January 29, 2021, with 1577 new infections in 21 states.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily update on Coronavirus.
The unit through their daily report showed that the country reached a record of 128,674.
The data released by NCDC showed that 27 people were recorded dead leading to a total number of 1577. Meanwhile.

In its record, Lagos had the highest number of 408 people who tested positive, while FCT had a record of 95 and then Plateau, 90.
