Nigeria has recorded a total of 1,386 new cases of the coronavirus disease, COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the disclosure in its daily update on Wednesday night via it’s official twitter account.
According to the centre, in the last 24 hours, 1,136 patients were discharged after recovering.
The NCDC said the discharges include 626 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.

But 14 new deaths were also recorded.
21 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded new cases on Wednesday.
Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with 476.
Rivers State recorded 163 new cases while the FCT recorded 116 new cases.
In addition, Kaduna State recorded 114 new infections while 68 new cases were detected in Oyo State.

Others are Plateau- 62, Ogun-56, Imo-55, Osun-55, Edo-51, Anambra-50, Kwara-44, Kano-17, Ebonyi-14, Cross River-10, Delta-10, Jigawa-8, Bayelsa-6, Ekiti-6, Borno-2, Taraba-2, and Zamfara-1.
The total number of confirmed cases is now 114,691.
So far, 92,336 recoveries and 1,478 fatalities have been recorded.
