Lagos State has recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases for Thursday, January 14, with a write-down number of 637, NCDC Reports.
The data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via it’s official twitter account showed that the compilation from 24 other states, gave a total record of 1479 infected persons.
The unit through the NCDC’s daily report showed that the country reached a record of 105, 478.
The data released by the commission showed that 23 people were recorded dead leading to a total number of 1405.

After the leading reacord of Lagos State, FCT recorded 201, while other state record stated that Nasarawa 80, Plateau 74, Rivers 72, Edo 46, Adamawa 43, Osun 39, Akwa Ibom 35, Delta 31, Anambra 27, Oyo 24, Kano 21, Abia 19, Enugu 19, Ogun 18, Sokoto 12, Bauchi 7, Taraba 7, Ekiti 4, Gombe 4, Imo 4, Bayelsa 2, Jigawa 2 and Zamfara 1.

Meanwhile, the total number of persons discharged across the country was stated to be 1053.
“Our discharges today include 642 community recoveries in Lagos State, 312 in Oyo State and 99 in Plateau State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC said.
