The former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Rebecca Hampson popularly known as Nengi has reacted to alleged rumours of her removal as the face of Bayelsa Girl Child and has been replaced by Ebizi Blessing Eradiri, a First Class Law graduate.
According to reports, the Bayelsa Governor, Douye Diri who appointed the former ‘Lockdown’ housemate as the face of Bayelsa Girl Child, was greeted with mixed reactions on the appointment.
The State Governor however succumbed to pressure and announced Eradiri’s appointment on Monday.
The new appointee, Eradiri is the first female First Class graduate from the Faculty of Law at the Niger Delta University, NDU.
Eradiri also finished First Class from the Nigerian Law School.

Eradiri and her father were at the Government House, Yenagoa, where the Governor also, among other things, gave her automatic employment to lecture at the NDU’s Faculty of Law. Nengi known for her humility said she looks forward to working with the lawyer for the good of the Girl Child In Bayelsa and debuncked rumours that she was removed.
Reacting to the development, Nengi tweeted, “Congratulations to Barr. Ebizi Eradiri. It’s amazing how you were able to pull that thru!
“Special thanks to my Governor for also finding her worthy for the honour. It is without doubt that we will both work together to see how we can front for a better welfare for the Girl child.”
