U.S singer Rihanna on Wednesday has joined her fellow compatriots as she condemned the killings of #EndSARS protesters in Lagos saying her heart is “broken for Nigeria”.
The singer posted on Twitter a screenshot of her writing on Instastories alongside the Nigerian flag stained with blood.
Her post read, “I can’t bare to see this torture and brutalization that is continuing to affect nations across our planet!
“My heart is broken for Nigeria man ! ! It is unbearable to watch ! I’m so proud of your strength and not letting up on the fight for what’s right ! #EndSARS.”
Rihanna’s reaction came shortly after the killing of peaceful #EndSARS protesters by security agents at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos on Tuesday.
