Nigerian winger Victor Moses is on the verge of sealing a season-long loan move to Spartak Moscow according to reports.
The Chelsea outcast has a year left on his contract with the Blues but has been deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge by boss Frank Lampard.
A proposed loan move to Inter Milan where he spent half of last season on loan collapsed on transfer deadline line day leaving the stranded Super Eagle in limbo.
But according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, with the Russian transfer window still open, Spartak are set to offer Moses a lifeline with the Nigerian set to join on loan.
A move to Russia will pit Moses on the opposite side of the Moscow derby against compatriot Chijoke Ejuke who plays for city rivals CSKA Moscow.
