Following The Explosion at Iju Axis of lagos state, LASEMA has activated its response plan to the fire incident urging Lagosians kindly exercise calmness.
The LASEMA Agency confirmed that a 30 ton LPG Tanker being operated by Mana Gas Ltd exploded and destroyed several vehicles, X and Y Event Center and a Plank Market in the above mentioned axis.
The responders discovered that a compromised seal device by the truck driver had led to gradual leakages which then ignited when the tyres burst.
Responders at the scene of incidence are LASEMA fire, Lagos Fire , Police and members of NSCDC.
Presently, the fire has been extinguished and damping down is being carried out.
