Spurs are on the verge of sealing a move for Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon, who was voted the best left-back in LaLiga last season.

Jose Mourinho appears to have stolen a march on his former club in the race for Reguilon
Reguilon dazzled on a season-long loan for Sevilla, impressing as the club triumphed in the Europa League and sealed a fourth-placed finish in the Spanish top-flight.
It seemed a formality that the 23-year-old was heading to Old Trafford with the two clubs reportedly agreeing a £27million fee.
However, in a sensational report on Tuesday evening, it is understood Spurs have moved ahead of their top-four rivals in the hunt for the defender after Jose Mourinho telephoned him last week.
The hijack has left once again left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the market for another left-back, but who should the Red Devils target?
Alex Telles (Porto)
The Brazilian, who has also been linked with Chelsea in the past, is one of Porto’s best players and a summer transfer is expected on the back of a remarkable individual season.
He played 49 times in 2019/20 with a stunning return of 13 goals and 12 assists, and Porto are reportedly set to demand around £27m if they are to sell him.
Telles has made more than 100 appearances for the Primeira Liga side, and his recent form suggests he is deserving of a move to one of Europe’s bigger clubs.
He is a well-rounded modern-day full-back and would significantly improve United’s options on the left side of the defence.
Alex Sandro (Juventus)
The Brazilian, who has won five Serie A titles in five years in Turin, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent seasons.
It is believed Juventus would demand a fee of at least £36million (€40m) for Sandro, who still has three years left on his contract at the Allianz Stadium.
United will need to move quick, however, as Sandro is now 29 and slowly moving out of his prime years.
He has never had any severe problems with injuries so would be a welcome addition to the Red Devils’ backline as Solskjaer looks to add competition for Luke Shaw.
David Alaba (Bayern Munich)
The Bayern defender would be a superb addition to any club in world football, and although he is now a centre-back, he would still do a stellar job on the left.
The Austria international has been stalling on a contract extension at the Allianz Arena as he enters the final year of his deal.
Reports suggest the defender wants to ensure that Bayern pick up a transfer fee if they cannot agree improved terms.
Alaba, who has been on Bayern’s books for the past decade and won a staggering 20 trophies at the club, has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Chelsea mooted as possible destinations.
It is understood that the versatile 28-year-old, who has also operated in defensive midfield, wants to become one of the top earners at the club, matching the salaries of the likes of Manuel Neuer, Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski.
