Marriages in Nigeria are no doubt big events characterised with fair glits and glamour, some depending on your pocket could run into several thousands of Naira and even Millions.

It attracts the high and mighty in every Nigerian community.. although this comes with various traditional coloration. Some of such events are done with family elders, others at the beach while some are done as a surprise to the would-be bride while the friends to the would-be groom are hidden in corners only to show up when the deal is sealed.
The rumour about the blossoming relationship between *Davido and Chioma* have been in the rounds lately attracting a lot of celebrity gossips within the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The popular Nigerian singer, Davido, on Thursday saw the need and the timeliness to tie the knots finally proposed to his girlfriend, Chioma.
Davido who had earlier announced his introduction to Chioma disclosed this on his Instagram page eliciting excitement on social media generating thousands of comments from industry watchers across the country and Africa.
Alongside a picture of Chioma with a ring on her finger, Davido wrote: “ *She said Yes! Big Rock! Assurance 2020* .”
It will be recalled that the 27 year old last week Monday had concluded an introduction ceremony with his would-be wife’s family.
On photos he shared on his social media handles, the celebrity said 2020 was the anticipated year for the big event, calling on friends and family to get ready
Davido also addressed rumours that his bride to be was pregnant, asking Nigerians to be patient.
