President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Alhaji Hassan Ahmed Dambaba as the Part-time Chairman of the Governing Board of Sokoto-Rima River Basin Development Authority.
Alhaji Hassan Ahmed Danbaba is also the Grand patron of the Gamji Members Association, His Appointment was conveyed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
The appointment was provided Under category B of the Federal Government Agencies and is Statutory in Circular Ref. No SWC/S/04/S.310/T/65.
The Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority was established in 1976 to coordinate various projects under the Sokoto Rima and Middle Rima River Basins.
