The last may not have been heard of the former speaker of the house of Representatives Hon. Yakubu Dogara who has returned to the All Progressives Party APC from the Opposition PDP.
His defection two weeks ago today drew thousands of supporters in Bogoro Local Government Area which forms part of his constituency to the APC as well.

Recall Dogara, who represents Dass/Tafawa Balewa/Bogoro Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, left the PDP following a fall out with the state governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed.
The APC Chairman in Bogoro LGA, Haruna Rikayar while receiving the defectors on Saturday assured them that they would be treated equally saying the APC would regain power in the state, starting from the LG elections billed to hold in October 2020.
The defectors who were led by Bulus Iliya, a loyalist of Dogara and who is also aspiring for Bogoro Chairmanship in the coming Local Government Council elections said they have decided to go back home.
Iliya, said that his decision to return to the APC was informed by the need to be united in truth at all times for the good of the people of Bogoro, Tafawa Balewa, Toro and Dass.
He asked for an even and fair play in the coming elections saying he believes the governor Bala Mohammed will lay a good foundation for the elections and future elections as well.
Bulus Iliya who regretted being formerly in the PDP said that the Dogara-led caucus were sidelined without any recognition given to them.
