President Of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with Nigeria’s security chiefs Over Rising insecurity issues in the Country.
Others at the meeting include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Chief of Staff to the President Ibrahim Gambari, National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno and some ministers.
The heads of the army, navy, air force, police, State Security Service, and Directorate of Military Intelligence are also attending the meeting.
This meeting is in sequence to the attack on the convoy of the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, in Baga, which occurred about a week ago.
Mr Zulum has, however, alleged that the attack was carried out by the Nigerian soldiers.
Aside from the attack on Zulum, the insurgency in Borno and Kaduna state has been on the rise as armed bandits are also attacking, killing and kidnapping dozens of people every month.

This Tuesday’s security meeting is expected to deliberate on some of these key security situations.
