The spread of novel Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria continues to record a significant increase as the latest statistics provided by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control reveal Nigeria now has the new report shows that Nigeria has 42,208 cases, while 404 was recorded in the last 24hrs.
Four hundred and four (404) confirmed cases were reported in
the last 24 hours from 20 states – Lagos (106), FCT (54), Rivers
(48), Plateau (40), Edo (29), Enugu (21), Oyo (20), Kano (18), Ondo
(15), Ogun (10), Ebonyi (9), Ekiti (, Kaduna (6), Cross River (5),
Kwara (4), Anambra (3), Delta (3), Imo (2), Nasarawa (2) and
Borno (1)
• Two hundred and forty (240) cases were discharged in the last 24
hours in 11 states – Edo (100), Rivers (37), Kaduna (30), Oyo (23),
Lagos (14), Bayelsa (13), Osun (9), FCT (7), Gombe (3), Kwara (2)
and Imo (2).
• Five (5) deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in three states –
Kwara (3), FCT (1) and Ondo (1).
