Nigeria continues to record a decline in its COVID-19 cases as the Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 74 new infections on Tuesday.
NCDC reports that the new cases were recorded in 9 states of the federation.

A State-by-State breakdown of the fresh cases reveals the following; Lagos-30, Enugu-11, FCT-11, Akwa Ibom-8,, Osun-5, Kaduna-4, Ebonyi-2, Rivers-2 and Ekiti-1.
The Centre for Disease Control further disclosed 48 persons recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres across the country and no death was recorded in the day under review.
Currently, Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases stand at 163,911; 154,225 recoveries and 2,061 deaths.
