icherry a player in the environment sector says it’s unveiling an exciting and innovative initiative aimed at promoting tourism and fostering a culture of conservation in Nigeria. This initiative is the “Green Time” Voluntary Conservation Tour and Talk Program.
According to Dr Mrs Charity Azunna Akpamgbo..CEO Icherry Travels and Global Concept, at its press briefing, The Voluntary Conservation Tour and Talk Program is a collaborative effort between local government agencies, environmental organizations, and concerned citizens who are passionate about preserving the planet.
The project which seeks to engage citizens, children, young and old alike, in meaningful discussions about conservation, sustainability, and the protection the natural environment has as its theme GREEN TIME, aimed at fostering a deeper connection with nature while addressing pressing environmental issues, such as climate change and its effect on work- life balance.
The “Green Time” Voluntary Conservation Tour and Talk Program expected to hold in Abuja at the National Children’s Park and Zoo Asokoro on the 2nd of October is parked with an interesting blend of Tree Planting, Wildlife Tour, Nature Pictoral Challenge, Conservation Awareness and more.
Participation is opened to the public at 1000 Naira for children and 2000 Naira for adults to experience a unique blend of ecotourism and environmental education.

According to the organizers, the Voluntary Conservation Tour and Talk Program will be launched next month on October 2nd to mark the Independence Day celebrations in Nigeria; and the tours and talks will be held regularly throughout the year.
Participants can sign up online through our social media handle at designated registration points in our community. Local schools, youth groups, and environmental clubs are especially encouraged to get involved.
Visitors can sign up for these tours and talks, where they can select their preferred activities and dates. Local accommodations, restaurants, and businesses are encouraged to collaborate with us to make the experience more seamless and enjoyable for our guests
