The abuja police command has arrested over 53 persons for property looted at the orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Kubwa, Abuja.
The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu made this known on Friday, while speaking with a journalist during an on-the-spot assessment of the NYSC camp in conjunction with the NYSC Director-General, Brig. General Ibrahim Shuaibu.
He further stated that everyone involved in stealing kits and other items would be punished accordingly.
He added that a few numbers of the looters have, however, voluntarily returned some of the items that were stolen.
