As part of activities to commemorate the Isese festival, the Oloto of Otto and Mainland His Royal Majesty Oba Bashiru Abisoye Odesanya Oloto has welcomed the approval and recognition of the festival by the federal Government.
HRM was speaking in his Otto palace in celebration of the festival as he wishes the Obas across the south west and Nigerians peace progress and harmony.
Oba Odesanya used the opportunity to felicitate with the President of the federal republic of Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion.
Isese has been celebrated in the south west for years but the 2023 event is the first being celebrated with approval of the Federal Government.
He also used the occasion to call about to indigents of Otto in the diaspora to partner with the kingdom in bringing it to civilization; with much needed amenities.
The history of Otto Kingdom and the longest monarchy in Otto and mainland in Lagos dates back from the 15th century.
Otto kingdom in Otto and Mainland is bracing up for radical modernization from its current dire state.
