A lady in her late thirties (30s) had plunged over the third mainland bridge in Lagos into the lagoon in a suicide mission.
According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, investigations has shown that the lady alighted from an Uber taxi on the bridge and plunged into the lagoon.
The driver of the taxi claimed she was having a heated conversation with her fiance before alighting from the car.
The LRT, Men of Lagos State fire and rescue service, LASWA and officials of the Department of State Service (DSS) we’re at the scene in desperate search for the victim.
Operation ongoing.
The presumed body is yet to be found.
