No fewer than Three hundred and six (306) Nigerians have arrived the country from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday.
This was revealed by The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).
The returnees in their numbers landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 8:00am in an Air Peace Plane.
NIDCOM Tweeted:
“Some Evacuees will disembark in Abuja while others will proceed to MM Int’l Airport, Lagos,”
All the returnees which had undergone COVID-19 test came out Negative. However, NIDCOM stated that they will undergo mandatory self-isolation in line with guidelines from the Presidential Task Force and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
