According to valid source, Tinubu would present Shettima on Sunday, July 10, to President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared July 15 as the deadline for presidential and National Assembly candidates to withdraw from the race in line with Section 31 of the Electoral Act, 2022.
There however had been speculations that the APC presidential candidate would pick between Shettima or Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai as the vice presidential candidate.
The former governor currently represents Borno Central Senatorial District.
